Such swindlers took money

Mumbai’s Dhvani Mehta works in a famous studio of Mahalaxmi. One day when she was returning from work, she saw an injured bird on the road. Dhvani Mehta thought of getting this bird treated and started searching for online bird rescue centers. After some time, he found the number of an NGO center on Google, on which he called and told about the incident. Then the woman had no idea that the people in front were cybercriminals. The person in front on the phone asked the woman to transfer a form and Rs 1 to the said account so that action could be taken on the complaint. However, no rescue team reached his house after filling the form.

After about four days, when Dhvani Mehta was traveling somewhere, she received a message on her phone in which Rs 99,888 was told to be deducted from her account. On seeing this message, the woman felt that she has become a victim of fraud and she immediately went to the Cybercrime Office and got a report written in this regard. At present, the police is tracing the phone number and the bank account in which the money has been transferred.

Don’t make this mistake

All of us should take this lesson from this incident with Dhvani Mehta that never directly trust the customer care number seen online. Always pick up the customer care number from the official location and give any personal information on the phone call only after verifying the details. In fact, anyone at Google can trap you by changing customer care or contact information.
